Meet the Founder

Perfect Six Founder Denise Grothouse is a visionary with a long track record of growing businesses, whether established or startup.

After successfully making Grothouse Inc a Nationally known brand, Denise launched Perfect Six to pursue her true passion—helping U.S.-based companies increase their sales and exposure. The marketing firm has experienced incredible growth from inception, a tribute to Denise’s business savvy and fresh take on the synergies of traditional and digital advertising, which have helped small and mid-size companies boost revenue by as much as 60%, earning the firm numerous awards from the American Advertising Association and Denise a prestigious 2019 Women of Influence Award in her local community.

She began her career as a buyer at the Triangle Building Centers, where she developed the Andersen Windows truckload sale, an event that accomplished the near-impossible feat of increasing sales on a competitive commodity item. Next, as materials manager for The Lehigh Group, Denise guided its Mexico-based manufacturing facility to profitability for the first time in 11 years and was instrumental in expanding the company through multiple acquisitions to become the Jarden Corporation (stock symbol JAH), best known for Ball canning jars, Poker playing cards, and Diamond matches.

In 2004, Denise joined her husband’s fledging business, then operating in her garage. Today, she serves as vice-president of Grothouse, Inc., a multimillion-dollar producer of custom wood surfaces that has collaborated with top designers worldwide. Thanks to Denise’s mastery of both digital and traditional marketing, Grothouse, Inc.’s website, www.glumber.com, has over 20,000 monthly visitors, and the company has been featured extensively on This Old House and in numerous publications.

In 2018, Denise secured a feature for Grothouse Inc and Kountry Kraft Cabinetry on the Bravo Network television show, Sell it Like Serhant. The producer was so impressed with her, Denise was cast in the show with Ryan Serhant. The show was a spin-off of Million Dollar Listing New York with a viewership of one million households.

Certified in Google AdWords, Google Mobile and Google Analytics. She is a member of the NKBA and The Executive Leadership Forum of the Lehigh Valley, serves as secretary for the Northwestern Regional Emergency Services Committee, and writes a marketing column for Kitchen and Bath Design News Magazine. She is active in several charities, including Director of Public Relations for Heroplex, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The Heidelberg 5K, and Perfect Six sponsors Mila, a six-year-old girl in the West Bank of Gaza in Jerusalem.

Denise enjoys baking, gardening, bicycling, skiing, horseback riding and resides in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
